Recap Logistics Summit 2022

On 5 and 6 October, the Logistics Summit 2022 took place in Hamburg. Logistics companies and speakers from the logistics market came together to participate in various knowledge sessions, round table sessions and presentations. In addition to the congress, there was also an exhibition floor where UTURN was represented with a stand. And as a visitor to the fair, they had a unique chance to let a caricature artist make a UTURN caricature of themselves.

The solution to capacity shortage of container carriers in Germany

Niels Duijvestijn (CCO) and Paul Hugenholtz (Country Manager Germany) were present to discuss with the visitors how they organize their container transports. Capacity shortages in Germany are also causing shippers to find it increasingly difficult to find a suitable carrier for their container transport orders. The UTURN platform helps shippers in their search for a suitable container carrier. Hundreds of container carriers throughout Europe are now connected to the platform.

In addition to getting to know new logistics parties and catching up with our regular customers, we also had a special and funny surprise for all conference visitors at the UTURN stand! Caricature artist Harold Hugenholtz was present at our stand, he managed to capture all those who were interested in a creative way. This resulted in a queue of visitors waiting in no time to have themselves signed as a caricature.
