associated with an assigned shipment on the UTURN platform. UTURN holds the right to block access of the user if violated.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acc-item\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acc-toggle flex-middle\" data-default=\"\">Operational Procedures \r\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"ot-flaticon-arrowsoutline\"><\/i>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acc-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The operational procedures are an addition to, and integral part of the terms and conditions of the use of UTURN. These Operational Procedures provide a more in-depth description of platform and transport related matters and provide (operational) instructions that must be followed by shippers and carriers on UTURN.<\/p><p>In case of shipment related matters\/problems, the shipper must contact the carrier, or the carrier the shipper immediately. Shippers get insight in the status of a container and can act accordingly. Certain fields are therefore mandatory to publish a shipment (f.e. equipment type, locations, dates, requirements, and target price). Other fields are not mandatory, but shippers are advised to be complete as possible to improve efficiency in both process and execution of the transport.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acc-item\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acc-toggle flex-middle\" data-default=\"\">Receiving quotes \r\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"ot-flaticon-arrowsoutline\"><\/i>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acc-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Carriers provide their best all-in price based on the provided information in the shipment request and includes market specific surcharges like fuel, road taxes, bridge\/tunnel fees, etc.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acc-item\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acc-toggle flex-middle\" data-default=\"\">Complete shipment details \r\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"ot-flaticon-arrowsoutline\"><\/i>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acc-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The carrier is responsible to check completeness and accuracy of shipment details before quoting, accepting or starting a transport.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acc-item\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acc-toggle flex-middle\" data-default=\"\">Requirements to register \r\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"ot-flaticon-arrowsoutline\"><\/i>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acc-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>All organisations will be checked for completing complete and correct company information. In doing so, carriers will be checked for the mandatory supplies required to carry out the transport:<\/p><ul><li>Euro licence (NIWO licence for the Netherlands)<br \/>Only carriers with a valid transport licence and chamber of commerce number registered with the same organisation will be granted access.<\/li><li>Insurance<br \/>All active carriers must have and be able to provide relevant insurances for carrying out the transport in question. The following insurances are required:<\/li><\/ul><ol><li>Liability insurance<\/li><li>Commercial vehicle liability insurance<\/li><li>Transport liability insurance<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acc-item\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acc-toggle flex-middle\" data-default=\"\">Target price \r\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"ot-flaticon-arrowsoutline\"><\/i>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acc-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Providing a reference \u201ctarget price\u201d is mandatory to publish a shipment. Time to get started!<\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"4872\">The agreed price of a transport contract can now no longer be changed. Do costs arise that were not foreseen? In that case the carrier might be entitled to the compensation of additional costs.<\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"5070\"><strong data-renderer-mark=\"true\">UTURN recognizes the following additional costs:<\/strong><\/p><ol class=\"ak-ol\" data-indent-level=\"1\"><li><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"5122\">Late cancellation charges.<\/p><\/li><li><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"5152\">Waiting costs<\/p><\/li><li><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"5169\">Other additional charges<\/p><\/li><\/ol><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"5197\">UTURN charges a 5% handling fee on top of all additional charges to the shipper. This does not apply to late cancellation fees.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acc-item\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acc-toggle flex-middle\" data-default=\"\">Process of costs \r\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"ot-flaticon-arrowsoutline\"><\/i>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acc-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"8308\">Carriers must report during transport that costs will (or are likely to) arise. Additional costs will not be considered if carrier has not notified the shipper.<\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"8535\">Process<\/p><ol class=\"ak-ol\" data-indent-level=\"1\"><li><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"8546\">Carrier enters charges and closes shipment with the 'Proof of Delivery'<\/p><\/li><li><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"8723\">Shipper has 5 business days to provide feedback on costs. If the shipper does not respond within 5 business days, the costs are automatically allocated.<\/p><\/li><\/ol><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"8881\"><strong data-renderer-mark=\"true\">Appeal of decision<\/strong><\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"8901\">If the carrier disagrees with the shipper\u2019s decision, the carrier will explain their reasoning for the costs in an email to the shipper and UTURN. The shipper will respond with an explanation of the decision.
